More Wine, Still Loving It

This morning was our last day in Florence. We took the high-speed train from the Tuscany region to Piedmont and then a regional train to the city of Fossano. From there we took a minibus to the small town of Novello. Basically in the middle of nowhere. Our hotel is a cute B&B that is decorated shabby chic. So precious!

Most of us took a quick nap before getting ready for the rest of the day.

In the afternoon, we visited Cordero di Montezemolo winery in La Morra.

I liked the wine from here. I think their wine tourism could be improved. It wasn’t bad but compared to the many other wineries we had visited, it felt like they could orient their focus on the customers a bit more.

We had a yummy dinner at our hotel at the Ristorante Barbabuc.

Everything was freshly made and delicious!
