More than Existence

Some days I live life to the fullest- engaging in every minute with purpose and experiences. Other days I feel like I’m just taking up space.

The days I remember most are when I feel in the center of God’s will. Exactly where He is wanting me at that time. I am overwhelmed with thankfulness because I have another day to enjoy His love and joy. I am really living.

Other days I can barely get out of bed and make it to class on time. There is nothing new. I just continue to do what is expected of me but nothing greater. I am stuck in the same toxic place.

Life can be overwhelming. Hard. Tiring. But each day has significance and purpose. Each day was made for more than just existence.

“Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.”

Looking at the success of others is motivating but can also be destructive if you lose sight of what’s important.

“Don’t be impressed by money, followers, degrees and titles. Be impressed by kindness, integrity, humility and generosity.”

 Stop:

• Making excuses
• Doubting yourself
• Going through the motions
• Relying on others to make you happy

Start:

• Making everything you want happen
• Thinking positively
• Expressing creativity
• Acknowledging dreams
• Enjoying alone time

Do more than exist. Let the Lord renew your strength. He will make you soar on wings like eagles, run and not grow weary, walk and not be faint.
