Marble Prints & Doctor Trips

For the past couple days my throat has been hurting. I thought it was just from being sleep deprived (totally worth it) but when I woke up this morning it was much more severe. I was able to go on the morning tour to the catacombs and to the Church of Domine Quo Vadis where we saw a copy of Jesus’ footprints preserved in marble. We spent some time inside the church praying and reflecting. It was nice to be able to do this as a group.

After the tour I went to the doctor to see what was wrong with my throat. They said I had strep. Great. I went to the Farmacia, picked up my antibiotics and slept in bed the rest of the day. My professor has excused me from class until I am feeling better.

Until then, I will be resting so I can recover quickly!
