Love on Your People Always

Dear St. Valentine,
Thank you for your bold acts of faith. They did not go unnoticed.

So much love & joy filled the house this week. I always enjoy every reason to celebrate, so Valentine’s Day was no exception. All things that have pink, glitter, and chocolate were present.
Full abundance of thanksgiving and love for my sweet & precious family.
And to send off in a care pack 🙂
{Side note- I am learning how to make more detailed sugar cookies soon (thanks Mom & Dad). With this last batch I figured out the right consistency & texture. So delicious!}
While Valentine’s Day is special because we can give extra time and love to those that are dearest, recognizing this love and showing that appreciation daily is worth striving towards.
For all my single ladies out there- one of the greatest gifts is knowing the Lord has a special plan for us, far better than we could ever imagine. We each have a beautiful set of gifts and passions we have been blessed with to bring forth in all of our relationships- the most important being with God. We are first called to serve Him, and then others. Our relationship with God does not depend on our relationships with others and certainly not our marital status.
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart” Psalm 37:4
Focus on Him first, and everything else will be taken care of for you. What a beautiful act of love.
Thank you St. Valentine for this reminder of His love for us, and in turn, the love we should show others.
XOXO,
katie
