Fashion in Florence

I woke up this morning and I feel so much better! The pain, swelling, and white stuff has all drastically reduced!

We took the train to Florence and went to our hotel to put down our luggage. One of the girls I have been hanging out with did a semester study-abroad program in Florence a couple years ago. She was able to take us to the best restaurants and shopping areas. We went to Yellow Bar for lunch. Of course I got pizza and it was yummy!

After lunch we were able to check into the hotel and meet up with the other students for a tour of Florence. We saw many of the iconic sites and learned about the history briefly.

We all went out for aperitivos and then I went to the Old Stove with a couple girls.

The time we are in Florence happens to be fashion week. We saw many famous people and fashion bloggers walking around and fancy events taking place. I really like how the timing worked out. The city is so alive!

First night in Florence has been a success!
