Farewells & New Beginnings

Today was my last full day in Scotland. We had two retailer visits booked for today. The first was at Primark. It compares well to a Forever 21. The second was at Marks & Spencer. I wish there was a Marks & Spencer in the US because I really liked the styles they carried.

After the store tours, I had a quick lunch and enjoyed walking around the town a bit more. I found the small vintage shops to be really interesting. I have always liked unique eclectic items.

Scotland truly is a beautiful place.

Because my flight leaves early tomorrow morning, I have to leave the hotel at 4am… I had to say goodbye tonight to many sweet friends I had met on the trip. Fortunately they are all students at TTU so we will be able to reconnect this fall!

It was a wonderful trip and I learned a great deal about international manufacturers and the business aspects of retail.

Tomorrow I am off to Italy!
