Edible Spring Nests

Making cute Easter snacks for family and friends. They are delicious treats that also serve as decorations. Recipe makes 18 snacks.
Ingredients:
3 drops of green food coloring
1/2 cup of coconut flakes
3 Tbs. butter
20 oz. miniature marshmallows
8 cups rice krispies
Pam
Jelly beans, m&m’s or small candies
Directions:
In a small bowl, mix food coloring and water then add coconut. Stir until the coconut is evenly colored.
Spray Pam in 18 baking cups. Will serve as a form for the rice krispies.
In a large sauce pan, melt butter on low. Add marshmallows and stir frequently until they are completely melted.
Turn off heat, fold in rice krispies.
Quickly distribute the warm rice krispies evenly into the 18 baking cups.
Use a small piece of aluminum foil with pan on one side to press on top of the baking cups. This will give you a nice flat top.
Once cooled, remove from baking cups and use thumb to press the center of the cup down slightly.
Add colored coconut and any extra toppings.
